System Requirements for Connecting to the MICEX Trading System

The following hardware and software is required for remote access to the MICEX Trading System:

• Basic configuration:
  • Trader PC that complies with a trader terminal supplier’s requirements. It is recommended to have at least 512MB RAM and MS Windows 2000/XP operating system.
  • Trade Terminal software.
• If connecting to the MICEX Trading Network:
  • Cisco Systems network equipment.
  • Router: the type of external interface should be negotiated with provider (V.35, X.21, Ethernet).
• If an external system is used:
  • PC/Server that complies with system supplier requirements.
  • MICEX Bridge.
  • Security Appliance (to improve throughput).
  • Client applications should use new versions of the TSMR.dll library capable of processing 60KByte buffers.
  • At least 256 kbps channel bandwidth.
• To improve the quality of client service:
  • Local Gateway server (with at least 2 GB of RAM).
  • At least 512 kbps channel bandwidth.
