External systems of the following origin can be used:

• In-house developments.
• Leased from the E-Stock company.
• Publicly available commercial systems.

External systems connect to the MICEX Trading System via the Universal Bridge.

How to connect a broker system
To get permission to connect a broker system to the MICEX Trading System the user has to submit a written enquiry to the MICEX Technical Center. The choice of a broker system is made by the user.

A broker system has to conform to the requirements set out in the following document available at the MICEX Technical Center: "MICEX requirements to the broker systems and to the procedure of their connection to the MICEX Trading System".

Upon the installation of a broker system the following documents are to be submitted to the MICEX Technical Center:

1. Statement on the installation of a broker system signed by the user company representative as well as by the broker system supplier.
2. Statement on the technical readiness to connect to the MICEX Trading System, signed by the user company representative as well as by the MICEX Technical Center.
3. The detailed diagram of how the broker system connects to the MICEX Trading System.
4. Other documents that may be requested by the MICEX Technical Center.

The user also needs to sign a Technical Access Contract either with the MICEX Technical Center or with a Regional Technical Center. This Contract has to include the peculiarities of connecting a broker system to the MICEX Stock market and to the MICEX Government Securities market.

Based on the submitted documents the MICEX Technical Center issues a written permission to connect a broker system to the MICEX Trading System.
