Terms and conditions
Market Data – data (including digital data) of a non-confidential nature related to the course and results of trading on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) and the MICEX Stock Exchange (MICEX SE) contained in the MICEX Trading System and the MICEX SE Trading System that is not MICEX’s or the MICEX SE’s official or trade secret, the right to the use of which belongs to MICEX in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation and the contract executed with the MICEX SE.
Information Unit – a MICEX information product presented in the agreed format containing a specific set of data from the Exchange Information and representing the course and results of trading on MICEX and the MICEX SE. The list of Information Units is available in the Fees and Samples section.
A User, who receives Market Data through MICEX Internet Server or via e-mail, undertakes to not disseminate the Data contained in the MICEX Information Units without MICEX’s written consent and shall be liable for each event of violating this provision in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation. “Each event of violation” of the provision consists of disseminating digital Data contained in the MICEX Information units to third parties, which shall be understood as the non-recurring transfer or demonstration of any numerical indicator (quote, price, volume, yield, etc.) contained in Information Units to third parties by any means at a specific time.
A User, who receives Market Data through MICEX Internet Server, undertakes to not violate the present Terms. In case of violation, MICEX reserves the right to unilaterally discontinue providing Informetion services to the User without prior notification.
In order to get MICEX Market Data, a User must:
1. Have an e-mail address.
2. Log in to the MICEX Internet server.
3. Receive a password for accessing the Registered User’s Area.
4. Execute an application for connection to the system of getting Information Units through MICEX Internet server. When executing the application, all of the mandatory fields must be completed fully and correctly.
Connection can be made on any business day and for any multiple of 1 month. The minimum period for receiving information is 1 month.
5. If the User is
5.1. A legal entity:
An employee of the MICEX Market Data & Indices Department will deliver an invoice for connection to the system of getting Information Units through MICEX Internet Server for a specified period of time to the User by fax.
The User must pay the invoice within 3 banking days of the invoice date and fax a copy of the payment order with the bank’s mark confirming the payment to the fax number +7 495 705–96–45 or by email (to commerce@micex.com).
The amount of payment is calculated on the basis of MICEX’s fees for connecting to the system of receiving Information Units through MICEX Internet Server and the duration of connection. The invoice number must be specified in the payment order. If the invoice is paid by a third party organization, the name of the organization for which the payment is made and the number of the invoice for which the payment is made must be specified.
If the invoice is not paid in due time, the User’s application and account will be cancelled.
5.2. An individual:
An employee of the MICEX Market Data & Indices Department will deliver an invoice for connecting to the system of getting Information Units through MICEX Internet Server for a specified period of time to the User by fax.
The User must pay the invoice within 3 banking days of the invoice date and fax a copy of the receipt with an execution mark and the seal of the branch of the Bank to the fax number +7 495 705–96–45 or by email (to commerce@micex.com).
The amount of payment is calculated on the basis of MICEX’s fees for connecting to the system of getting Information Units through MICEX Internet Server and the duration of connection. The invoice number must be specified in the receipt. If the invoice is paid by a third party organization or other individual, the surname, name, and patronymic of the individual for whom the payment is made and the number of the invoice for which the payment is made must be specified.
If the invoice is not paid in due time, the User’s application and account will be cancelled.

- Upon expiration of the paid period of connection to the system of receiving Information Units through MICEX Internet Server, the system automatically discontinues getting Information Units.

Other Issues
MICEX shall not be liable for the lack of service due to technical reasons beyond its control such as malfunction of the MICEX software and hardware complex; equipment failures, malfunctions, and breakdowns; software failures and errors; failures, malfunctions, and breakdowns of communication systems, energy supply, air conditioning, and other support systems.
MICEX reserves the right to make changes to the contents of Information Units.
If the User completes the application form for connecting to the system of getting Information Units incorrectly, MICEX reserves the right to cancel the application.
