The procedure for a Section Member joining EDM in the MICEX futures market section (standard contracts) in order to obtain reports on results of trading in futures instruments with currencies as the underlying assets, commodities, and other assets:

Beginning on February 1, 2003, electronic document management in the Section is performed via the use of electronic signature key certificate technology.

Procedure:

1. Submit two copies of the Agreement on Observing the Electronic Document Management Rules, signed and sealed, to the EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) Organizer’s Security Administrator (only if the Agreement has not been signed earlier). The EDMS Organizer‘s Security Administrator shall arrange the signing of the Agreement on the part of EDMS Organizer and forward a copy to the Section Member.
2. Deliver to the EDMS Organizer’s Security Administrator
   1. An application for executing an electronic signature key certificate (“Electronic document management in the MICEX standard contracts market” must be the certificate’s area of validity)
   2. Power of attorney for working with electronic signature key certificates
   3. Power of attorney for receiving documents, software, and information support (if documents, software, and information support are handled by an authorized representative of the EDMS Participant).
3. Pay for the EDMS Organizer’s services in accordance with the rates and payment procedures (see the section on Service Payments).
4. Obtain the key holders’ registration key and certificate, software, and information support from the EDMS Organizer’s Security Administrator. Install software on a client workstation, generate private (secret) keys, and request that an electronic signature key certificate be issued. Send the generated request via email to the EDMS Organizer’s Security Administrator at pki@micex.com.
5. Include the EDMS Participant’s certificate, executed by EDMS Organizer, to the local certificate directory on a client workstation, after exporting it from the network certificate directory.
6. Sign, seal, and return to one registration certificate form and electronic signature key certificate form the EDMS Organizer’s Security Administrator.
7. Deliver an Application for Receiving Documents in Electronic Form to the SCMA (Standard Contracts Market Administration) in compliance with the regulations of the MICEX futures market section.
8. Obtain a notification of the opening of an EDMS e-mail account and the EDMS Participant’s password and identifier from the SCMA.
