Konstantin N. Korischenko
President of the MICEX

Mr. Korischenko was born on 28 August, 1958, in the city of Zaporozhye. In 1980, he graduated from M. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Up to the present, Mr. Korischenko has held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and has been a member of the Bank of Russia▓s Board of Directors. Since 2003, Mr. Korischenko has been Chairman of the Board of the MICEX. In 2001-2002, he served as Managing Director of Troika Dialog Investment Company. From 2000 till 2001 he headed the RTS Stock Exchange. Prior to that, since 1992, Mr. Korischenko worked at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, first as Head of the Secondary Market Department of the Securities Division, then as Deputy Head of the Securities Division and Head of the Department for Operations in the Stock Market. In 1995, Mr. Korischenko was appointed Deputy Director of the Securities Department and Director of the Department for Operations in the Open Market of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Korischenko is Doctor of Economics.
