MICEX Commission Fee for UTS Transactions
Traders in the Unified Trading Session of Interbank Currency Markets (hereinafter referred to as UTS participants) currently pay the following types of commission fees on ЕТС foreign currency transactions closed using centralized clearing:
- Commission fee for trading organization – charged by MICEX CJSC as the trading organizer;
- Fee for providing integrated technological services (ITS) – charged by MICEX CJSC as the Technological Center;
- Commission fee for clearing services – charged by the National Clearing Center JSCB CJSC (hereinafter referred to as the NCC) as the clearing organization.
Commission fees (including value added tax) are paid by UTS participants in Russian rubles and retained by the NCC when settlements are made on the results of clearing from financial resources transferred by UTS participants for fulfilling obligations to the NCC, or payable to UTS participants after corresponding obligations have been met.
The amount of and settlement and payment procedure for commission fees on foreign currency transactions in the UTS (hereinafter referred to as Fees) are regulated by the following decisions:
- The decision of the MICEX CJSC Directors Committee dated July 30, 2009 (Minutes No.9)
- The decision of the Supervisory Board of the National Clearing Center JSCB CJSC.
