Index Committee Profile

The governing body of the MICEX indices is the Index Committee. The Index Committee comprises members, representing Russian financial market and professional community and is responsible for setting policy in developing indices, determining index composition in accordance with the index methodology and ensures that wherever possible, the indices meet the requirements of the market.

Meetings of the Index Committee are held on a semi-annual basis as well as on an as-needed basis. The Index Committee reserves the right to use discretion to include or exclude an index components and to adjust the free-float factor of a stock.
