Minimize Expenses by Connecting to the S.W.I.F.T. Network through the MICEX Clearing House Terminal
S.W.I.F.T. is currently the leading international organization in the sphere of financial telecommunications, providing secure and reliable transmission of financial messages worldwide.
Using S.W.I.F.T., as with any first-class service, is quite expensive for the user.
The high price of the S.W.I.F.T. software and hardware complex makes it impossible for many financial organizations to use it when making payments. The MICEX Clearing House recently created a complex of organizational and technical solutions that allows the use of installed S.W.I.F.T. equipment to connect Clients. The cost of connecting to the S.W.I.F.T. system through the Clearing House is several times cheaper than with an independent connection.
The MICEX Clearing House possesses all licenses needed to connect Clients to the S.W.I.F.T. network using a shared connection. In 2000, the MICEX CH was the first in Russia to obtain a license from the Federal Agency of Governmental Communication and Information for providing information encryption services to users of the S.W.I.F.T international financial document circulation system, which was renewed in 2008.
Each organization using the MICEX CH terminal is a full member of S.W.I.F.T. and an independent user with a unique S.W.I.F.T. BIC code. This means that the organization can interact independently with the S.W.I.F.T. headquarters (for executing agreements, conducting negotiations, settling invoices, etc.) and when receiving official reference materials, information, and reports published by S.W.I.F.T., working through the MICEX CH terminal is similar to having one’s own terminal. Users are also provided with twenty-four-hour access to the S.W.I.F.T. network, regardless of MICEX CH working hours.
The MICEX Clearing House is constantly working to develop new methods of connection and expand the hardware and software of the S.W.I.F.T terminal complex. The MICEX CH aims to increase the reliability and speed of the system in order to better manage the growing number of messages transmitted by clients.
